I just recently earned my Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA. I was then accepted into University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and wished to work towards my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. However, I can't afford UMASS Dartmouth, even with financial aid. I contemplated the Army Reserve but I'm getting a little too nervous and worried about enlisting. If I don't continue going to college full-time, I will lose the child support being given to me by my father. I was wondering if it would be pointless or worthwhile to go for my Associate of Arts in Web Design or even Business Management, to compliment my Associate of Arts in Graphic Design. In the end, I want to work for a design firm in Boston or New York and work my way up to an Art Director, then Senior Art Director. I thought having a Bachelor's in Graphic Design and Associate in Web Design or Business Management would be good for my knowledge an resume. Do you think this would be a good course of action? I know two Associates don't equate to a Bachelors. Obviously. I mean if I already have an Associate of Arts in Graphic, then go for an Associate of Arts in Web Design, they would compliment each other when I get my Bachelors in Graphic Design.
