My wife and I went to the Xtra Mart in Fall River Ma, yesterday. A girl paid with a supposed counterfeit $10 bill. The clerk took the money and then locked the doors. Leaving 3 other customers ( my wife , me and another girl) stuck inside even though none of us had anything to do with it. The clerk called the cops and we could not leave till they came 15-20 min. later. Was that legal to do to us all? Why could 'nt the guy just refuse to take the money. Worst case scenario what if that girl who passed the bill got crazy and had a gun or something , the clerk s behind a bullet proof window so he don't care what goes down. The funny part was the girl was a stripper ( a toothless one) claimed to get it from "working", I was also the only guy in the store and I look kinda sketchy so they probably thought it was me who did something, and when the cops came they asked if I was that girls boyfriend. weird night. Can anything be done? To all you people who are who are "get over it" F**k that! it was almost 11:30 at night my wife works hard and deserves to get sleep. No it did not ruin her entire night of sleep but it threw a stick in the spokes. also I don't really feel that I need to help take out a crime ring and the cops did n't ask us anything so we just left.
